LLTek announces a dramatic breakthrough in headlamp availability for earlier A4 Audis. If your A4 car is a 1995 (European year) to 1999 A4, read carefully. In those years the Audi supplied headlamp and separate turn signal was manufactured by Bosch. The foglamp was built into the headlamp and the foglamp functioned moderately. If you have this type of headlamp - this great upgrade could be for you!

History

Years ago, LLTek was able to purchase special clear projector versions (made by Hella) of the two piece headlamp that first appeared on the European released S4 in late 1997. These were the first HID (Xenon) projection versions that would fit in an A4. These units were shipped to LLtek for resale in three separate allotments. Later this same two piece HID projector headlamp became a one piece unit for A4's post-facelift 1999.5 - 2001. In the one-piece North American projector version (made by Valeo), two designs were available. One was HID and the other was a dual H7 halogen version. There are also two similar European versions which are superior to the North American version in lens design, reflector design, cut off points and no orange plastic in the turn signal. LLTek stocks these versions for post-facelift cars.

The 90% Perfect Alternative

A popular upgrade for the older 1996-1999 A4 was to retrofit a one piece Valeo headlamp, since the headlamp opening was nearly identical pre and post facelift. This retrofit required two adjustments. First the Bosch plug had to be cut off and replaced with a Valeo compatible plug. Second, some minor metal cutting of the inner fender was needed. The fit results are 90% perfect. LLTek has sold, and continues to sell, many headlamps for this type of upgrade and it is a nice upgrade. However, many enthusiasts do not like the idea of cutting their car, tinkering with plugs and less than a perfect fit. Now there is a better option.

"Plug and Play" is back

The two piece "plug and play" no-cut, perfect-fit headlamp is back. Currently in stock, LLTek has two new versions of the European A4/S4 2 piece clear projector headlamp and turn signal. These are full projector versions with the ultra clear style turn signals. Light output specifications are European, of course, as these units are e-code. Each headlamp contains the superior lens design, a sharper reflector design, defined cut-off points and increased light output. One version will be Phillips HID Low Beam, H7 High Beam; the second version looks identical but is Halogen H7 low,and Halogen H7 high.

Originally the two piece HID low beam HID version sold for $1,299 per set and we sold every set we could obtain. Our price of $1,111 represents a nice savings of just under $200.

By the Part

We have received a limited supply of extra European A4/S4 clear turn signals that can be purchased for $77 per side (in sets only). Headlamp sets (only) without turn signals will be sold for $388 per set so it's far less expensive to purchase as a four piece set.

Volume Price Reduction for H7 Halogen Versions

Also, should you purchase the new two piece Halogen H7 version of the headlamp kit, the kit can be upgraded to full HID with the purchase of the LLTek Serious Vision HID H7 kit. Now, due to volume purchases by LLTEK from its suppliers, we are pleased to announce a price drop from $666 to $599.

"S-Yo" Bulb Silver Look - Flashes Yellow/Orange

The NEW "S-YO" bulb will complement any headlight upgrade. When not flashing the bulb is silver irridium - but when it is flashing, the YO" bulb produces a standard yellow glow. There are two (2) versions of this light modification:
1) a dual filament - "press and turn" base for earlier Audis and
2) a dual filament "wedge" base for the more current Audi.

Before ordering - check and determine your bulb base design.

Notes Regarding Xenon Lights

Note 1:
Hid Xenon Bulb and Ballast option requires a 15 amp fuse.

Note 2:
Canadian cars will have to make one modification to their car. This has to do with Canadian cars having daytime running lights and a "voltage reduction module". The voltage reduction module must be bypassed. However, after the module bypass and HID installation, you will still have daytime running lights.
