LLTeK's Mud and Snow mats enjoy a good reputation and maintaining that reputation is the reason for this short note. LLTeK is holding on to a large number of mats for the Audi A6 C6 car (designed for the Sedan and Avant) because a small change made to the location of rear seat mat clip and pin positions by Audi has jeopardised fitment. The front driver and front passenger mats fit perfectly, as usual, but there could be a fitment problem in the rear. Here's the story (and LLTeK's suggested "work-arounds").

When you buy a set of Mud & Snow Mats for your Audi A6 C6 (sedan or avant), you may or may not have a fitment issue in the rear seating area. The change in mat pin placement by Audi came into effect during the second year after the launch of the car. As a result, LLTeK cannot guarantee the rear mats will pin down using both OEM pin positions. However, LLTeK can suggest the following:

1. Forget the rear set of molded mats and use the extra set of two flat mats that will be shipped with every order of Mud & Snow Mats for the A6 C6
2. Physically change the pin point on your set of mats so they will secure to the floor pan with OEM points.
3. Use the mats "as is" - the rear mats might fit (depending on your car's production date) or not fit - in which case they can be pinned on one OEM pin point and and that will suffice.

Option 2 (physically changing the pin point on the two rear mats is an easy operation) but for those choosing option 1 (using the set of extra mats shipped with each order) the color of the flat mats will be dark gray. In any case, all orders of A6 C6 Mud & Snow Mats will ship with an extra set of flat gray mats (while supply continues and LLTeK will keep customers informed). LLTeK regrets this unforseen fitment issue.
