This is what the Audi Pikes Peak quattro has become. We first saw the concept model when it was introduced at the 2003 North American International Auto Show. These days in North America, you cannot get a machine with a manual transmission - they're all 8-speed Tiptronic automatics. However, the power plant provides choice among the 3.6 FSI quattro, 4.2 FSI quattro, 3.0 TDI clean diesel quattro.

Ostensibly, the Q designation (disputed by Nissan/Infiniti and resolved in 2006) refers to "quattro" and the four wheel drive technology (in large part responsible for Audi domination in places lke Pike's Peak) continues to drive the marque forward with little time to look back. Here, you can choose among three Euro tuners for styling that fits your idea of what a premiuum SUV should look like. Enjoy.
