LLTeK is pleased to release body kit styling for Audi’s new S5 coupe. The S5 is powered by a 4.2L V8 FSI producing 354 PS (349 hp/260 kW) while the A5 is expected to run with a 3.2L V6 FSI producing 265 PS (261 hp/195 kW). Both machines have been designed and built using Audi’s new MLP platform (Modular Longitudinal Platform) - look for it in the next generation of A4, A6 and A8 Audis. The platform is significantly different from previous design where engines sat over the front axle; now, with MLP, more weight and power will be located behind the front axle - producing a more even weight distribution (55/45) between the front and rear wheels. Does it sound like Audi is taking a serious run at BMW’s title? Time will tell, but it should be remembered that the difference in first “past the post” can often be attributed to whoever is between the seat and steering wheel.
