LLTeK is pleased to present body kit styling for Audi’s S5. In North America, the S5 is powered by a 4.2L V8 FSI producing 354 PS (349 hp/260 kW) while the A5 runs with a 3.2L V6 FSI producing 265 PS (261 hp/195 kW). Both machines have been designed and built using Audi’s MLP platform (Modular Longitudinal Platform) - it is the current standard for Audi production and future generations of the Audi lineup will conform to this in design and manufacture. The platform is significantly different from previous design where engines sat over the front axle; now, with MLP, more weight and power will be located behind the front axel - producing a better balanced weight distribution (55/45) between the front and rear wheels. Does it sound like Audi is taking a serious run at BMW’s claim to THE driving experience? Certainly Audi has demonstrated prowess (and in some cases outright dominance) on race circuits, but it should be remembered that much of the difference in first “past the post” can often be attributed to whomever is between the seat and steering wheel. On looks alone, Walter Maria de'Silva - designer of Audi’s A5/S5, has given Audi enthusiasts and tuners a winner. +++++Kudos
